Scenario

The Challenge:
Traditional nursing education relies on static simulation labs and physical mannequins. While useful, these environments often fail to replicate the psychological pressure, rapid decision-making, and chaotic spatial dynamics of a real-world hospital ward during a medical emergency.

The Solution:
Angry Shiba Studio partnered with the CUHK School of Nursing to architect NurseVerse—a high-fidelity VR ecosystem designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical reality.

We moved beyond "training software" to create a Immersive Learning Environment. NurseVerse allows single or multiple students to inhabit a hyper-realistic virtual ward, where they must navigate acute emergencies (such as cardiac arrest or post-operative complications) in real-time.

The Impact:
NurseVerse is now a vital part of the CUHK nursing curriculum, transforming how future healthcare professionals master their craft. By vitalizing the training system, we are ensuring that the first time a nurse faces a life-threatening emergency, it isn't actually their first time.
