A320 Emergency and Safety Procedure Training

One of our originated in-house products. We collaborate with aviation professionals including pilots and cabin crew to develop a VR Training program. Our VR training software is specifically designed to assist training of crew members on a wide range of skills and procedures including safety and emergency training, Aviation crisis management, in-flight services, aviation security training etc. It offers an immersive and engaging experience that allows users to interact with various scenarios in a realistic and intuitive way. Those scenarios could be tailor-made according to airlines operating procedures and requirements. In conjunction with traditional training methods, it can help crew members learn and retain information effectively.

The Challenge:
In commercial aviation, emergency situations are statistically rare but catastrophic. While traditional physical mock-ups (like slide deployments or ditching pools) are valuable, they are incredibly expensive, logistically slow, and fail to safely replicate the true psychological terror and chaotic environmental physics of a severe structural failure.

The Solution:
Angry Shiba Studio engineered a high-fidelity A320 VR Digital Twin to serve as an adaptable, procedural training engine for airlines.

To demonstrate the platform's extreme capabilities, we developed a proof-of-concept ditching scenario inspired by the physics of real-world aviation incidents (such as Asiana Flight 214). The user is stationed at the AFT emergency door during a violent water landing where the empennage (tail section) is compromised. Users must navigate spatial disorientation and execute critical safety protocols in a rapidly deteriorating 3D environment.

The Human Side of the Tech:

Crisis survival is entirely about cognitive load management. You cannot learn adrenaline control from a textbook.By inducing controlled psychological stress in a hyper-realistic VR space, we train the human nervous system to react with precision rather than panic. The system tracks spatial awareness, reaction times, and protocol accuracy, bridging the gap between reading a safety manual and physically experiencing a catastrophic evacuation.

The Impact:
This platform provides airlines with a scalable, highly customizable training matrix that dramatically reduces the overhead costs of physical drills. By allowing cabin crews to safely experience and master the "worst-case scenario," we are engineering the ultimate safety net for millions of global passengers.
